Theatre Inc. is an interdisciplinary theatre company created at Chichester College in response to the needs of ten young performers and arts makers who live with a range of conditions including Down syndrome, autism, ADHD and Asperger syndrome.
This group of talented young people wish to pursue their training and creative exploration in performance theatre but have found no routes available to them. Theatre Inc. was created in order to provide vocational progression within the performing arts as mainstream education and training pathways insufficiently meets the needs of these young people with learning disabilities. It is currently the only educational programme of its kind in the UK to be recognised by the Educational Funding Agency.
